Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21 October 2026 1. Who provides the service and what this site offers These terms govern contracts made through filipafaustino.com for the services and goods provided by Filipa Faustino, of Aura Espaço, Rua do Valverde, 39, 2415-776 Leiria, Portugal, Portuguese tax number 227957466, reachable at info@filipafaustino.com and on +351 910 027 728. The site offers individual sessions, remote and in person, training and courses held in person, live online and as recorded video, seasonal celebrations, original and commissioned works of art, books written by Filipa Faustino, and an area reserved for students and certified therapists. 2. The nature of the work This is consciousness and personal development work. It accompanies and complements each person's medical and psychological care and never replaces it. It is not a diagnosis, medical treatment or clinical advice, and it promises no results. In the event of illness, symptoms or ongoing treatment, keep the care of your doctor or psychologist and never stop or change prescribed medication or therapy. 3. How the contract is made The contract is made when you complete your order on the site, expressly accepting these terms, and receive confirmation by email. Confirmation is sent on a durable medium within five days at the latest and, in any event, before the service begins or the goods are delivered, and contains all pre-contractual information, including these terms and the withdrawal form. Before you complete your order, the site clearly shows the main characteristics of the service or goods, the total price including taxes, delivery costs where applicable, the means of payment and performance, and the duration of the contract. The button that completes the order states expressly that the order carries an obligation to pay. Orders are accepted from Portugal and are intended for persons aged eighteen or over. The means of payment accepted and any geographical restrictions on delivery are shown at the start of the ordering process. 4. Prices, payment and invoicing Prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the rate in force, 6% on original works of art and 23% on sessions and training. Books written by Filipa Faustino are exempt from VAT under article 9 of the Portuguese VAT code. Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown separately before the order is completed. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are collected directly by Stripe and are never stored by, nor accessible to, Filipa Faustino. The invoice is issued on the date payment is received and sent by email. On orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties and taxes due in the country of destination are borne by the recipient and are not included in the price. 5. Individual sessions Sessions are booked through the site and payment is due up to forty-eight hours before the booked time. A booking is confirmed only once payment has cleared, and confirmation is sent by email with the video call link or the address, depending on the format. If payment is not made within that period, the booking lapses, with no penalty. The requirement of advance payment in no way affects the right of withdrawal set out in clause 9. Remote sessions are held by video call. Having a suitable connection and equipment is the responsibility of the person booking. Late arrival by the person booking reduces the time available, as the session ends at the scheduled time. The terms for rescheduling, missed sessions and refunds are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. 6. Training and courses Each edition states, before enrolment, the dates, times, duration, format, number of places, price and conditions of certification. Enrolment is confirmed by payment in full or, where provided for, of the deposit stated on the page for that edition. Filipa Faustino may postpone or cancel an edition that does not reach the minimum number of participants, or for reasons of force majeure, giving notice as soon as possible. In that event, those enrolled choose between moving to the next edition and receiving a full refund, paid within fourteen days. Recorded video courses have time-limited access, stated on each course page and never longer than six months from the date access begins. Certification depends on attendance at the compulsory sessions and on meeting the requirements stated for each path. Course materials are for the personal use of the person enrolled, and sharing, copying or distributing them requires written permission. 7. Original and commissioned works of art Each work is original, executed by hand and signed. Pieces come with a certificate of originality and, where provided for, a written reading. For commissioned work, the specifications are agreed in writing before work begins and form part of the contract. Payment is made in full on ordering and the time for completion is up to three months from cleared payment and agreement on the specifications, a period expressly agreed between the parties under article 19 of Decreto-Lei 24/2014 (the Portuguese distance contracts decree). A work made to your specifications or clearly personalised is not subject to the right of withdrawal, under article 17(c) of that decree. This information is given before the order is completed. The terms for withdrawing from a commission are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Where a commission includes material supplied by you, such as names, symbols, texts or photographs, you declare that you are entitled to use it and authorise its incorporation into the work. 8. Books Books written by Filipa Faustino are sold as goods and follow the general rules on delivery, conformity and withdrawal that apply to goods. 9. Right of withdrawal As a consumer, you have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason and without costs beyond those provided for by law. The period runs from the making of the contract for services and digital content, and from the day you take physical possession of the goods when buying a work of art or a book. To exercise this right, communicate your decision by an unequivocal statement, by email to info@filipafaustino.com, and you may use the withdrawal form provided on the site and sent with your order confirmation. Receipt is confirmed on a durable medium within twenty-four hours. All payments received, including standard delivery costs, are refunded within fourteen days of notice of withdrawal, by the same means of payment. For goods, the refund may be withheld until the goods are received back or proof of return is provided, and the cost of return is yours. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods. 10. Cases in which the right of withdrawal does not exist or ends The right of withdrawal does not apply to a work of art made to your specifications or clearly personalised. For services, the right ends once the service has been supplied in full, provided that, when ordering, you expressly requested that performance begin within the fourteen-day period and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been supplied in full. Both declarations are collected separately during the ordering process and repeated in the confirmation sent by email. For recorded video courses, the right ends when you first access the content, provided you consented in advance to that access and acknowledged that your consent entails the loss of the right. If you withdraw after requesting early performance and before the service has been supplied in full, you pay an amount proportionate to the service already supplied, calculated against the total price. For courses, that proportion is worked out by modules or sessions already held against the total planned. 11. Delivery and risk Works of art and books are shipped insured and with declared value. The risk of loss or damage lies with Filipa Faustino until actual delivery, except where the carrier was chosen by you and not offered on the site. As an alternative to shipping, a work may be handed over in person, by appointment, with the date and time recorded in writing. In that case the risk passes on handover and there are no shipping costs. Where a purchase is agreed and paid for entirely in person, with the work present, the contract is no longer concluded at a distance and the right of withdrawal in clause 9 does not apply. If you buy through the site and collect the work in person afterwards, that right remains and the fourteen days run from the date of handover. On receipt, check the condition of the packaging and the contents. Visible damage should be reported as soon as possible, with photographs of the packaging and the work, which helps resolve matters with the carrier without prejudice to your legal rights. 12. Intellectual property The sale of a work transfers ownership of the physical object and transfers no copyright. Under article 10 of the Código do Direito de Autor e dos Direitos Conexos (the Portuguese copyright code), copyright in the work is independent of ownership of the object, and the buyer acquires none of the rights comprised in copyright. Filipa Faustino retains all rights of reproduction, distribution, communication to the public, exhibition and making available online, as well as the moral rights of attribution and integrity of the work. The buyer of a work is permitted to photograph it and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes, with attribution to the author. Any commercial use requires written permission. The buyer of a work authorises Filipa Faustino to photograph, film and show it in her portfolio, site, social media and promotional material, including after the sale, described as being in a private collection. The purchase does not affect the artist's resale right on future resales involving an art market professional, under article 54 of the same code. Leitura Angélica®, Leitura de Vidas Paralelas®, Filipa Faustino Angel Method®, HALO HyperDimensional Architecture Therapy® and Healing Diamante Angélico® are registered trade marks. 13. Reserved area Access to the reserved area is personal and may not be transferred. Keeping your credentials safe and reporting any misuse is your responsibility. Access may be suspended where credentials are shared or materials are distributed without permission. 14. Liability Filipa Faustino is liable under the general law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that the law gives consumers. The site may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control, and service is restored as quickly as possible. For paid content, access is extended by the corresponding period. 15. Applicable law, complaints and disputes Portuguese law applies. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of habitual residence. You may complain through the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (the Portuguese electronic complaints book) at livroreclamacoes.pt, and may refer a dispute to CNIACC, Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo, at cniacc.pt. Naming this body meets the duty to inform and does not imply prior acceptance of its jurisdiction. Further information at consumidor.gov.pt. 16. Changes These terms may be updated. The version in force when you order applies to your contract, and is sent with your order confirmation.
